Our company specializes in residential appraisals and OneSource has played a valuable role in saving us time by enhancing our appraisal process. It displays comps within a parcel map and colors them by year sold. This technique saves us an incredible amount of time in qualifying "like kind" properties so we study better comparables. Their database of many comp photos of homes has really given me an edge on evaluating a possible comps usage. The ability to view the property details, site conditions, flood and zoning issues before we use a property as a comp is so helpful! With the aerial photography we can visually inspect neighborhoods. The ability to query value ranges, dates of sales and market area to narrow searches is incredible. All this and more in one system is just hard to imagine until I experienced it.
