2007 Aerials Reflect Wake County Growth

Real estate professionals in Wake County will benefit from newly released 2007 aerial imagery as visual evidence of the commercial and residential growth over the last 24 months in the greater Raleigh area. Last shot several years ago, Wake County images have already become outdated in today’s fast-paced society. At this time, these 120 day old aerial images are more current than Google Earth.

Photographed in September 2007, Site Tech Systems recently released these updated Wake County images on its proprietary OneSource application. The photographed images cover 4,925 square miles featuring the following counties in their entirety: Orange, Wake, Durham, Johnston, and Franklin as well as portions of the surrounding counties. In addition to the updated aerial images, OneSource enables subscribers to view five years of area comparable sales, obtain updated demographics and traffic counts, conduct multiple property analysis, gain a visualization of vacant land, and print customized reports detailing surrounding environmental conditions on multiple properties within minutes.

“SiteTech Systems is a technology company dedicated to simplifying the process of gathering, consolidating and analyzing real estate information. We pride ourselves in featuring the most updated property resources available which greatly benefits those in the commercial and residential real estate industry,” says Todd Woodard, chief operating officer, SiteTech Systems. “With OneSource, we’ve taken research that often required hours to analyze property, including several trips to local courthouses and county offices and turned it into an application that can be accessed from your desktop computer. We were able to provide this property research service by teaming the latest technology with data from Federal, Local and State agencies along with other proprietary sources, such as our 2007 aerial images.”

The easy-to-use, web-based GIS application contains aerial imagery, environmental, public record, flood zone, wetland, soil, zoning, topography, and comparable sale history specifically for Wake County.

“With OneSource, its system is a one-stop source for comparable data. This GIS-based system is the future of real estate research,” states E. Cody Jetton, MAI, CRE, FRICS, Managing Director, Cushman & Wakefield of Washington, DC, Inc. “OneSource is an invaluable tool for anyone needing to evaluate property in Wake County.”
